TAYLOR FAMILY - POCATELLO, IDAHO

From the moment that mom stepped out of the car wearing that dress, I knew this was going to be a fantastic session.

Spring this year in Idaho has been TOUGH! I’m so over cold temperatures, cloudy skies and all. this. rain. So I felt super lucky when the rain clouds parted and we were able to shoot this session.

Shooting this family is a dream. I can’t get over how beautiful this mom is! Isn’t she gorgeous?!

FORD FAMILY - POCATELLO, IDAHO

Fall is just beginning around here, and I’m SO EXCITED!! This is one of my most favorite times to photograph families. It’s a good reminder to me of how beautiful Pocatello is.

HARDING FAMILY - POCATELLO, IDAHO

My major in college was Marriage and Family therapy. I was sure that I wanted to listen to couples’ problems all day long and help them save their marriages. I have always been fascinated with the inner workings of families.

But…fast forward several years, when I have a marriage and kids of my own. I quickly realized that I have my own troubles in my own family…why would I want to listen to other people’s problems all day long?!

I do have a point here, promise. One of the main reasons why I love photographing families is that I get to hang out with them. I get to see how they treat one another. I get to feel the love between them. Gawl…I love it so much.

The Harding family was so stinking’ fun to photograph. These guys have a love for each other that is so palpable. They’re fun and they’re silly. Those cute little grandkids adore their grandparents.

It’s not very often that I don’t want a session to end, but I can honestly say that with this one. Harding family, I hope we get to do this again in the future.
